3.2 Main features

SIG SAUER pistols are modern handguns that comply

with the latest technical advances in ﬁrearms design for

military, police and sporting use. They function in line

with the principle of a mechanically locked, recoil-operated

pistol with semi-automatic reloading. The automatic ﬁring

pin safety lock, safety notch on the hammer and the

manual safety enable a quick readiness for ﬁring.

The distinctive, contrasting micrometer sight in conjunction

with the ergonomically optimized handle design enable

rapid, precision targeting and ﬁring. The enclosed design

prevents the penetration of dirt into the gun.

The SIG SAUER X-FIVE is designed as a single action

model.
